Spirit Animal: Not so step-by-step process photos

AWOOOOOOoooooo! Wolves. Lots and lots of wolves. They are howling straight to my inspiration bone these days. Their species' history, their importance in Native American culture, and their extremely interesting connections with humans as a species is fascinating, and they have been showing up in a lot of my work recently. Not only are they revered in Native American stories and cosmologies for their tact, brains and beauty, but they are chillingly similar to humans in terms of predation and social dynamics. An inspirational keystone species. I've been working on this drawing for the past couple days, it's not quite finished yet, but here are some process photos.
