Coming Up for Air; and Then Back to the Depths

GASP. Here to say that I have a mere one show left to complete for the time being, and it should be an awesome one. I've been utilizing some new painting methods and media for the May Fairs show at Project One, and for the most part I'm happy to say that I've been pleased with the results. The theme for the May Fairs show is right up my alley; powerhouse females that are both beautiful and dangerous. While the work definitely adheres to my usual Native American concepts, I do have some different work that I am excited about as well! Just as a sneak peek, I've posted a close-up of a wee fruit bat that made it's home in one of my paintings. This little guy is a homage to my sister for many reasons, but mostly because she eats peaches upside down.
